Hello I’m Rika
Currently based in Seattle, USA. With a background and education in photojournalism, I specialize in working with editorial and commercial clients.
My approach is candid and documentary-style, favoring real-world environments over studio settings. I take the time to understand my clients’ vision and purpose, ensuring that the images I capture align with the story they wish to tell. This human-centered approach allows me to create authentic, meaningful work that resonates with audiences.
In addition to client projects, I showcase my photography at exhibits and shows. I also offer workshops tailored to groups or individuals, focusing on travel, food and portrait photography. Whether you're an aspiring photographer or simply looking to elevate your skills—using an iPhone, digital, or film camera—I’d be delighted to help you on your journey.
Feel free to email me at rika@rikafoto.com or reach out through the contact menu for inquiries. English and Japanese.
